Phu Quoc Pepper Farm – A Family Garden Experience

Welcome to our family’s pepper garden in Phu Quoc, where over half a century of tradition is preserved in the rich red basalt soil and fresh tropical air of the island.

Here, you’ll not only see rows of vibrant green pepper vines heavy with ripe fruit – you’ll also witness the full journey from fresh red peppercorns to pink, black, and white pepper, all naturally sun-dried using traditional methods. Come and smell, taste, and feel the uniquely bold aroma of Phu Quoc pepper – one of Vietnam’s most distinctive spices.

Discover the Pepper Garden with Our Family

Stroll through lush green pepper vines while listening to stories of our 50-year journey – from our grandfather’s first planting to three generations of traditional farming wisdom.

Seasonal Farm Activities – Pepper Picking or Fruit Harvesting

Depending on the time of your visit, you might get the chance to hand-pick bright red peppercorns or harvest seasonal fruits growing in our garden. During the drying season, you can also experience traditional sun-drying or cleaning pepper by hand – a humble yet unforgettable local experience.

Enjoy Fresh Flavors Right at the Farm

Right in the garden, you’ll have the chance to taste fresh pepper with salt, ground black pepper made on-site, or sample local homemade dishes featuring our farm’s spices and seasonal produce – like pepper fish sauce, roasted pepper with salt, or simply fresh fruits with chili-salt-lime dip. Every visit brings a new flavor and a unique experience!

From Family Tradition to Fragrant Peppercorns

Our family’s pepper story began over 50 years ago, when my grandfather first cleared the red-soiled land and planted the very first pepper poles, just about a kilometer from where the garden is today. Later, my father took over and nurtured the current garden, and it’s been more than 35 years since.

Generation after generation, we’ve grown up alongside the pepper vines – not only as our livelihood but as a source of pride and now, a story we want to share with you.

A lovely place to stop and have a quick tour. No need to book, you just show up. A super friendly and welcoming family. They give you a tour of their garden and show you all the fruits they grow and how they pick and produce the peppercorns. They then end it with a little tasting and it is all super delicious. I would definitely recommend popping in here.

Amazing place! This family-run business, which has been around for quite some time, has resulted in an incredible experience. The incredibly kind host immediately jumped up and offered us a guided tour of the farm. He shares fascinating insights, and on-site, you’ll find pepper in all sorts of forms, exotic fruits, and many other unique things. At the end, you can explore the entire plantation on your own, and when we returned to the entrance, a tasting session was waiting for us. I truly believe this is a must-visit spot on Phu Quoc. Now I just have to figure out how to fit all this pepper in my suitcase!
