When you visit Hai Duong Pepper Farm, the first thing you’ll notice is the fresh air and the natural beauty of the lush green pepper rows. Everything here is far from accidental.
We take pride in maintaining natural farming methods for over 50 years, from our grandfather’s time to our father’s, and now our generation. Without using chemicals, we utilize fertilizers from fish and cow manure, caring for the plants seasonally to protect the land and environment. This method is not only sustainable but also produces high-quality pepper with rich flavor.
Our Natural Standards
The distinctive flavor of Phu Quoc pepper at Hai Duong Pepper Farmcomes from how we care for the pepper plants. Our natural farming standards ensure the plants grow in harmony with nature.
Pepper plants are grown and cared for entirely naturally, from organic fertilization to hand-harvesting between the 12th and 3rd lunar months. We carefully select ripe red and large green berries to sun-dry, producing red pepper and black pepper, or soak them to make white pepper.
During rainy or hot seasons, we support the plants by reinforcing stakes, weeding, draining, or providing regular watering, ensuring they remain healthy and produce the most flavorful pepper.
